Welcome.  You've arrived at the official site of author Michael De Kler.

I predominately write dark fiction and horror, a genre that has kept me turning the pages for most of my life.  My stories range from the bizarre to just plain disturbing, but my ultimate goal is to give the reader something new, a fresh and original look at the dark world around them.

Although I've been writing for several years, it wasn't until recently that I decided to elevate it beyond just a hobby.  The proportion of my writing that is crap has been declining.  At least I hope.  But I'll let you be the judge.
